Business hours: 1-800-295-1815
After Hours: 1-800-427-4876
If you suspect a covered loss, contact the number listed on your policy binder immediately. Claims must be reported as soon as possible to ensure proper handling.
Do not dispose of or euthanize the animal without first consulting your veterinarian and receiving approval from the insurance company, unless humane destruction is medically necessary for the animal’s immediate welfare.

Veterinary Requirements
A licensed veterinarian must perform a full necropsy (autopsy) in the event of death. The necropsy report, medical records, and photographs will be required by the carrier before a claim can be processed.
What to Have Ready
When contacting the claims department or your agent, please be prepared to provide:
-
Your policy number and the insured’s name
-
The animal’s name, age, and insured value
-
The date, time, and cause of death or illness
-
The veterinarian’s name and contact information
-
Any supporting documents (vet reports, photos, invoices, etc.)
After You Report the Claim
Once your claim is reported, an adjuster or claims representative will reach out to gather additional details and explain the next steps. Your agent will remain available to assist and ensure the claim is handled efficiently.
Important Reminder:
To ensure your coverage remains valid, it’s essential that everyone responsible for the insured animal understands and follows the claims procedures outlined above. Please review your insurance policy for the full terms and conditions that apply to your coverage.
